The first episode. Rachel Leeds, the agent Max Steel has been partnered with, is among a group of people kidnapped at a peace conference at the Reichstag in Berlin. The kidnapper quickly turns out to be L'Etranger, or ""The Stranger."" Max saves them, just in time for his public identity, Josh McGrath, to pick up his girlfriend, Laura Chen. A glimpse of surprises, and enemies, to come.
